Sofar Sounds run events all around the world aiming to bringing the magic back to live music. We hold shows with secret lineups of new and emerging artists playing in quirky venues.
Following on from a successful sold out 'Sofar Sounds Oxford does Oxjam' events in 2015 and 2016 we are back again this year raising money for Oxfam.
Grab a ticket and we'll email you information about the secret venue in Oxford 2 days before the event. As always with Sofar events, the lineup is secret and you'll find out when you arrive which acts are playing, but we can promise you some great acts from all sorts of different genres.
The money raised from this event will be donated to Oxfam & we can't wait for an exciting evening of music raising money for such a great cause.

OXJAM
If you haven't heard of Oxjam, then the Oxjam Music Festival takes place every October. It is made up of hundreds of events happening all around the UK, all organised by volunteers - including the main Oxjam Oxford Festival's Oxjam Oxford Festival 2018 all down Cowley Road on Sat 27th October 2018.
Oxjam began in 2006, with the aim of creating a network of music-loving people across the UK, all united by a shared goal - to raise money to fight poverty and suffering around the world. Oxjam has raised over £2.5 million for Oxfam's work since it started back in 2006.

* Oxfam started in Oxford back in 1942.
* The name “Oxfam” comes from the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief.
* The group originally campaigned for food supplies to be sent through an allied naval blockade to starving women and children in enemy-occupied Greece during the Second World War.We have a secret line-up of some fab acts coming play for us all in an interesting venue. Come check out some varied and amazing acts in an intimate setting. Those with tickets will be emailed a the day before the event with event details and timing.
